737 Flap Settings

Fri Sep 19, 2008 11:27 am

Please could someone tell me what the usual/most common takeoff flap setting is for the Boeing...
737-700;
737-800;
737-900.

I know it varies by weight, runway length/height, temperature etc..., but am just after a rough guide.

Also, does anyone have access to runway takeoff data tables (ie. those that help determine assumed temperatures for de-rated takeoffs)? I know they are runway specific, but was again after a rough guide.

Many thanks in advance for any info. which people have.

I've only flown the 700/800 and certified flap setting were:

1, 5, 15, 25. Mostly was used 5.

Yup, same with us at Caribbean Airlines. Flaps 5.

For your derated takeoff, we have an average assumed temp of between 54-60C.
Maintain own separation with terrain!

The only time there is too much fuel onboard, is when you're on fire!
