Wouldn't that help alleviate some problems like trying to get around the wing like in the aft part, or help by simultaneously loading through the front and aft sections.

The 777F main deck cargo door is aft of the wing. This is a better location for minimizing loader - airplane interference and helps to ensure the airplane will not tip on its tail during loading.

The 5 MD-11C combis built for AZ (the only ones built) also have the main deck cargo door aft of the wing. On the.MD-11F freighter it's in front of the wing.
