Start-up Needs Help Understanding Flight Data

Thu Apr 30, 2009 2:25 pm

Hey all:

My start-up needs a little help understanding the chain of flight data involved in normal commercial ops. We're hoping to speak to station managers, gate agents, ops folks, etc. (current or former) who can talk to how scheduled and real-time data is entered, updated, and moved through the various interfaces (e.g. airline ops, FIDS, FAA, etc.)

If anyone is willing to chat and share some of their knowledge and experience, that would be great!

Note we're not looking for proprietary info -- just people who are familiar with how things work.

Please private message me if you're willing to chat and we can get in touch. I can tell you more about the company and get your feedback.

Many thanks,
Evan (aka dartland)
