LAX Taxi To 25R

Sun Mar 14, 2010 1:49 am

It's been a while since I've been spotting at LAX. Do 25R departures usually come down taxiway B, or else C and then jog over to B at C1? Or both?

B is the normal queue for departures. Planes on C usually make it onto B around the terminal area, if not by the United hangars. It’s quite rare to taxi down C all the way, unless aircraft need to get around other traffic.

The most common reason is an aircraft waiting for a flow time. ATC will park them on C until their wheels up time approaches.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems with just potatoes.
