I would like some information regarding case specific insourcing and outsourcing of maintenance for a few world airlines. I am writing a paper on outsourcing MRO and would like a few examples.
B777 fleet: In-sourced at Alliance
B737 fleet: In-sourced at .............
B747 fleet: in-sourced at Cardiff.... (???)
Any information provided is much appreciated. I would also be very happy for specifics on WHY insourcing or outsourcing is chosen for a given fleet type.
