Cabin Crew On A380 - How Many?

I guess the absolute minimum would depend on the amount of seats the airline has decided to put in their A380. Isn't the requirement 1 FA per each starting 50 seats. So an A380 with maximum number of seats (853) would require 18 FAs!

Varies depending on jurisdiction. Australia is one per 36 pax, Canada is one per 40(?), USA one per 50. There are probably others.

Well I would say that 4 tech crew meens 2 Cpt´s and 2 FO´s, its not that uncommon Iberia does MAD-SCL (Madrid-Santiago de Chile) with 2 Cpt´s and 2 FO´s, and MAD-EZE (Madrid-Buenos Aires) as well as all of its destinations in South America, except SCL, with 1 Cpt and 2 FO´s. its call reserve crew

1 Capt, 1 FO, 2 SOs. Or a variation on that (ie 1 check Capt, 1 Capt, 1 FO, 1 SO... or 1 Capt, 2 FOs, 1 SO etc etc)

Canada is one per 40(?),

Considering that QK DH3's are flying around with one FA, the FA/PAX ratio is probably the same as in the USA.

On widebodies it's also affected by the number of doors. I think many regulatory authorities require one flight attendant at each exit door during takeoff and landing.

A guy I used to work with, who went to EK said they put something like 30 F/A's on board. This has nothing to do with the door count or minimum f/a-pax ratio. It is all about service.
