Attendant Call Chime

Thu Nov 11, 2010 10:35 pm

Is there any FAA or other regulatory requirement an attendant call button within a lavatory to activate the chime in addition to a light?

i would assume so.

the button normally illuminates an orange light outside the toilet, and an orange light at the cabin attendants station. accompanied with a chime to alert them. if there was no chime it could go un noticed for a while.
