A330 Mtow Versions:

Tue Mar 01, 2011 2:43 pm

We've acknowledged yesterday that AirAsiaX has ordered three A332 to be operated on their KUL-Europe routes.

Those A332s will be the new HGW versions of 238t of MTOW. My question is:

- is that version available with all engine variants ?

- what is the best performing MTOW version of an A333 ? Also available with all engines option ?

Thx a lot for your help !!

Yes

The highest MTOW available for the A333 is 235t. Available with all engines.

Best performing? That would depend on the individual airlines needs. Some airlines may not need the highest MTOW for their route structure and to save on airport fees may opt for a MTOW "derate" model.

All the weight variants can be found on the Type certificates:

http://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Gu...057b789/$FILE/A46NM%20rev%2019.pdf

The data sets haven't been updated with the A333 235t variant, but more info here:
