TU-204:Any Prots?

Known as the Airbuski for being the first Russian civilian aircraft with FBW but did it have any prots at all?

Can you elaborate on what "prots" are? Maybe it's due to a translation barrier, but I honestly have no idea what you're referring to

I would guess protections? Perhaps in light of discussions of FBW...

I would guess that too, although I find no reason to not go ahead and type the whole thing out. Could be a language barrier, I suppose.

I had never heard of this airplane... Strange it's still in production with such a low output in the last 20 years. Is it any good? Anyone?

I think the IL-96 was the first Russian civilian aircraft with FBW.

It has been established now that it is protections that the OP is talking about, and I believe this is in reference to the protections that FBW offer (whether an advantage or disadvantage is another thread), especially in relation to Airbus aircraft.

Pardon me if I am wrong but the OP had a similar question recently regarding Airbus so I assume this is related to that, and
