In Flight Maps Question

Fri Jun 08, 2012 10:19 pm

On my recent travels and reading a lot of trip reports, I have noticed that a lot of airshow maps don't have the country borders anymore. Any idea Why this would be?

I don't recall them ever having country borders? Might be wrong though.

I generally don't like the updated versions anymore. Showing you the view out of the left window or something may be fancy, but they fail to deliver the information you're really looking for, which is location, altitude, speed and remaining flight time, not another CGI render of the plane you're sitting in.
