Pulse Lighting On GA Aircraft

Sun Jan 20, 2013 12:55 am

Just curious when the right time is to use pulse landing/taxi lights if the aircraft is equipped with them. I know a lot of the newer Citation and Gulfstreams have them. Just from a pilots perspective, when do you use them?

For me personally (C172S) I use my pulse lights primarily for climb and decent. On our aircraft the pulse light will only work when the landing and taxi light are off.
