Boeing 747-400 (pax) Load And Trim Sheet

Sat Apr 20, 2013 3:30 am

Hello, everyone.

My hobby is aviation and programming and I am developing a small application for the X-Plane simulator that should help load a Boeing 747-400 and calculate CG, trim, fuel, and time for a selected simulated flight. This will be for the passenger version of the plane.

I am trying to code a Load and Trim Sheet and, unfortunately, I cannot find any good example on Internet. I could locate one for 767, Airbuses, but not 747-400. I have found a Load and Trim Sheet for a cargo 747 that includes the appropriate indexes for cargo and fuel. However, there is no DOI for the reference and I can only arbitrarily use one (say, DOI of 55-60).

Can someone please help and share a copy of the filled Load and Trim Sheet for 747-400 that I could use in the application to simulate CG and trim?

Your help is much much appreciated!

Best.

You might find what your looking for if you Google a KAL 747-400F incidnet on takeoff from I believe Oslo. It's a complete incident report with graphics covering the load manifiest. There was a significant CG probem as I recall.

Good luck!

There are indeed several. Not the clearest scans unfortunately.

Thank you so much, BravoOne and Starlionblue!!! I really appreciate it.
The document includes the Index-%MAC chart that is identical to the other document I have (with detailed indexes). It means that both sheets probably have the same way of calculating indexes from weight. And the document that you provided includes DOI (68.8) -- exactly what I was looking for.
Cheers!

BravoOne should have all the credit. I only googled after he mentioned the incident.

Hi. May I ask one more question? Does anyone know usual CG (in ft, inches or %MAC) of a passenger 747-400 at dry operating weight?

Many thanks!
