Dear Airliner Experts!
I am working on the preliminary designs for a civil cabin simulator. The cabin simulator will be flexible to accommodate different single-aisle aircraft cabins currently in production or in wide use. This may include Boeing 737, Airbus A320, Bombardier CSeries, MD-80 Series, Bombardier CRJ, Embraer E-Series, Bombardier Q300/Q400, and ATR42/72.
What I'm after is the placement of the seat tracks down the length of the aircraft. For each seat track, I'm looking for the distance between the aircraft centerline and the centerline of the seat track.
I understand some aircraft, like the smaller CRJ and Q Series aircraft, the seat track along the windows are elevated and may be at a angle to the floor. I need to know these elevations and angles with respect to the top of the floor (before carpet is installed).
I have the cabin cross section drawings for each airframe. Unfortunately they do not dimension the location of the seat supports.
Does anyone have this information that you can share with us?
