Imperial Hill Spotting (LAX)

Thu Nov 01, 2018 3:23 pm

Hey gang,

Venturing out to LAX this weekend. I've traditionally spotted from the In N out burger and some of the Century Bvld hotels. I'm aware of the "Imperial Hill" neighborhood south of the airport--my first time there so I plan on Ubering over or so. Is there a park or address that is best for spotting (i.e. where should i be asked to be let off)? Any other recommendations welcome. Thanks in advance.

I have found that there is a pretty good observation point on Westchester Parkway as well, where it crosses over Lincoln Boulevard (US-1). Very few people seem to know about it. Great unobstructed views of the north runways, T1-3 and TBIT. I routinely walk over from the In-N-Out location.

On the contrary, lots of people know about the north side photo spots. Afternoon summer sunlight favors them so they're most popular then. Just my two cents...
