Handheld Receivers

Hi

sorry but i don't know who this equipment is caled, it's the walki talki like receiver where one can hear the Tower communication at airports mainly used by plane spotters. Where can i find info about this and how much is it about in $

Since you are not needing to transmit you are looking for a airband scanner.

I am in the market for one myself....I just went down to price one out at the local Radio Shack.....It was about $120 dollars and covers several bands including the aviation one.

I know that the Sports catalog used to have one in them. You may want to check them out.
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.
