Light Requirement For Zoom Lens?

Sat Sep 02, 2000 12:36 am

I just got a Tamron 70-300mm lens, and I am going to take pictures with it tomorrow. The weather calls for 50% chance of rain. I plan on bringing some Royal Gold 200 and 100 speed. If it rains I will use the 200, right? Well, anyways, first of all, will 200 speed be acceptable for a zoom lens? I heard that only 100 speed is because of the slow shutter speed. But, hell, what do I know? Anywho, will taking pics in the rain be acceptable?
