I started with the default Cessna 182RG.

The progression since then has been:
- Vista Express Dornier 228
- American Eagle Saab 340B .perfected my landing skills on this. I have since lost this aircrafts files.
- Indian Airlines Boeing 727-2A8
- Indian Airlines A320-212.
- Indian Airlines A300B4
- Jet Airways 737-400 (lousy paint job. does anyone have a decent and realistic 737-400?)
- Air India A310-304
- Air India B747-437B (couple of flights)
- Vista Express A330-300

My default aircraft and one that i have flown the most is the Air India A310.

I just counted my 532 planes I have for FS98. About 95% of them are airliners. I also have my planes realistic panels and sounds for the certain types.

After downloading an awsome MD-80 panel, which came with an evergreen DC-9-30 and North Central DC-9-50, ive been flying mostly the North Central. I also usually fly an AA 757-200 TW MD-80, and an awsome 727 with winglets. The MD-80 panel I mentioned is awsome because in order to turn on the engines, you need to first turn on the APU, then generators, then engine start etc etc... The panel was by Paul Golding [www.paul.golding.btunternet.co.uk]. Any one else have this panel?

I have FS2000 Professional and I like the Cessna 182S and RG and the 737-400. I don't download planes, I can't find out how to download panel and sounds, and the plane is very hard to control.

I have Flight Simulator 2000 pro and like flying either my Phoenix Simulations Cathay 747-400 or Qantas 747-400 "Wunala Dreaming". The plane has the most realistic panel I have ever seen. It was one of the best things Ive ever purchased for FS2000 and was well worth the cost. You can purchase the panel and planes at http://www.phoenix-simulation.co.uk

I have deleted the default FS98 planes and am only operating two Delta 727-247A's, one in the old-old paint and one in the old-new. I have downloaded these planes from Simviation.com and are the highest quality 727's I've ever seen. They have all moving parts and transparent cockpit windows, Stage III hushkits and even some mud that had splashed up under the fuselage! I have an amazing cockpit with it that is so realistic and I have watched 727 flight in the cockpit videos and made the sound to recreate it exactly. The original .air file I downloaded had slightly incorrect specs, I went to Boeing.com and talked to pilots to get exact weights, EPR settings, EGT, range, drag and all perfect! I have truly made it "FS727" instead of "FS98".

Like many others, I'm using FS2000. My collection is varied, but I mainly fly anything produced by Sandro Bernardini. His aircraft are of a fantastic quality, with excellent detailing.

On FS98, I fly mostly variants of the MD-80 series. I also can often be seen in the cockpit of a B737-700, A32X series, DO-328Jet, DC-9, and B757-200. I don't like the widebodies much...

Wow...you guys like all the NEW stuff.  Wink/being sarcastic

Well, for "an old guy" I'm sort of partial to the following -

727-200 TWA "Twin Globe"
Eastern DC7, DC8, DC9-51, B720
National DC6, 727 "sun king", L188
TWA Martin 404
Ozark DC9 & F27
Frontier 727-200
Allegheny Convair 580
Braniff DC4
Western B707, B720, 727 and L188 Electra II
Delta and TWA Convair 880
Republic 727-200
Southern DC9
Piedmont F27 & YS-11
Northeast 727
...and other such vintage niceties!

Oh, and I do fly for 2 VA's so I have the usual conglomeration of 37's, 57's, 67's and maddogs. But the old stuff is just as fun.

I prefer the Dragonair A330, BA 777, and Austrian Airlines A340. I haven't got around to playing FS98 lately though.

I once flew the 737 all the way from SFO to SAN on FS98. Smile

"Slow computer? No, try small wallet."

Smile. You should really upgrade sometime though. FS2k is miles ahead of FS98. 2k was my first version of FS but my friend gave me a copy a 98 a few weeks ago. I was suprised at how shi**y it was compared to 2000.
