FS2000 Missing Taxiways/Aprons

Sat Jan 06, 2001 2:22 pm

Hello,
I was flying around in FS2000 recently scince i just got a computer that can actually run it. I was flying from KEWR-KBOS and when i got to BOS there were many missing Taxiways,Tarmacs!! I am from BOS and this bugs me because i cant even get near a terminal w/o doing a little "off roading" are there any downloads that can correct this? Thanks in advance.

I know exactly what you mean! I don't like flying into BOS because of that. Cape Town, South Africa is another problem. I'm surprised because they did such a great job on the city itself, to leave such a hole in the design is kinda sad.

I can't stand the lack of other aircraft and crappy ATC - I want to be able to talk to em myself!

Airport 2000 vol 1+2 should correct the issue, though at $25 each, you end up purchasing 14 good detailed airports for nearly the price of FS2000 istelf.

Boston Logan is included in vol 2. Check out my screenshots page for some examples (mainly the shots with the Virgin 747-400 and the Southwest 737).

Yes, if you're someone like me who grabs at any remotely realistic-looking scenery. Imho, default FS2000 scenery doesn't cut it.

Don't forget, both Airport volumes come with extra aircraft. They're not much to write home about, easily bettered by the freeware planes you can download at Captain Slug or flightsim.com

Believe me-I have Airport 2000 vol.2 also. It is one of the best add-ons for FS2000. I was flying a Eurowings A319 out of Barcelona and was taxiing behind what looked like an Iberia 747-400. Although it's a little wrong being that Iberia doesn't fly the 744, it was awesome! I witnessed an Iberia A320 take-off there also before making a perfect take-off and a flight to London Heathrow. As I was taxiing off the runway, a British Airways Concorde landed right in front of me. It's a great piece of software!
