Long Prosper L-1011s

Thu Mar 15, 2001 7:18 am

I am about to purchase a 1/200 Long Prosper L-1011 Tristar. I have a question for you all. Do all the Long Prosper Tristars have the same nose and body? Are the LP ones a different size than the former Wooster Tristar models? I looked at the photos of the models on airplaneshop.com and some of the noses look different. What is the length on them, like 9"? I'd really appreciate your help.

the long prosper L1011s should look and be the same length as the wooster ones. I am guessing they are 1/250 scale. If u wanna let me know which one u want to get I can try and get more info for you.

Ah! My model buddy! Thanks for your reply. You are correct, they are 1/250 scale. I have two that I am considering. One is the LP Peach Air L-1011, the other is Royal Jordanian L-1011.

Yes they are 1/250 scale. I have the LP Peach Air Tristar. It is a nice model. The only difference really from Wooster is that the engines are a bit to small and the tail plane can be removed unlike the Woosters.
A Caledonian Tristar is nice. My most recent one is Air Portugal.
I have a collection of nealy 400 LP and Wooster models.
E-mail me if you have any more questions.
