Your Best Flights In Flight Simulator

What was your best flight with Flight Simulator?

FS98: PIA 747 300 all the way from Heathrow to Karachi with emergency stop over at Istanbul due to non working airspeed, low fuel due to some reason, and failed oil pressure gauge as well as failed compass.

FS98: Royal Air Nepal 757 200 from Karachi-Khatmandu at midnight and at dawn (I have downloaded Mount Everest for FS98) I found myself heading straight for that mountain.

FS98: PIA 747 200 all the way from Heathrow to Dubai to Karachi. No mistakes great.

FS2000 Pro: Default turbo prop from Kabul to Chitral. I tried this flight 4 times but crashed due to heavy snow, low visibility and poor lighting system at Chitral.

FS2000 Pro: PIA F27 Friendship from Gilgit to Islamabad. The plane landed with gears up. They were down during the approach, I thought they were up so I pressed "G" and I did a belly landing.

FS2000 Pro: Ariana Afghan 727 200 ADV from Kabul to Karachi with no mistakes.

FS2000 Pro: Noble Air Asia 757 300 from Karachi to Peshawar. No ILS at approach, poor weather, perfect crosswind landing.

FS98: PIA 707F from Lahore to Karachi. First time I flew a VFR/IFR flight and landed without using ILS. I didn't knew how to land but I did.

PC12 Reykjavik to Narsarsuaq. Interesting departure with quite a bit of crosswind. Hairy landing with near zero visibility. Boring overwater bit, of course  Smile

Kathmandu to Lukla. DHC-6.
Extreme weather conditions (the adventure was set up to be minimal for a helicopter, undoable in a fixed-wing craft at the landing site).
20 knot or so crosswind at takeoff, gusty conditions with snow all over the route (that bird can't outclimb the weather up there), low clouds at the landing site.
Lukla is a grass strip, and nearly invisible in FS2000. I put her down hard. FS called it a crash, but I doubt it would have been worse than some cracked shockabsorbers and maybe a burst tire in real life.
I wish I were flying

FS2000: British Airways B747-436 "Whale Rider" (Feel Real / Project Opensky) LHR-SIN-SYD, Great Flight, toal flying time 23.43 witha 3 hour stop in Changi (Singapore), Went over numerous storm systems between SIN and SYD, got buffeted around by 39kts cross winds and a 87kts tail wind. Struct by lightning on decent into Sydney in a tropical storm. Plane suffered no damage. Tryed to make a heavy cross wind APR but with the wind gusting to over 25mph, had to initiate a go-around procedure. On next APR control shifted me to a runway facing the direction the wind was comming from as this was not avaliable during my inital APR. Made a great Approach with 25 degrees of flaps and spoilers up 5%. Executed a non-bounce touch down and applied 80% of reverse thrust to compensate for using very light breaking due to heavy rain in the area, spoilers fully up, took the avalaible taxi way and made my way cautously to the Interantional terminal at Kinsford Smith INTL. Engine shutdown and deboarding were greated by load clapping and chearing from passengers.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
Another great British Airways flight.
I do this service once a week as it's a very long 2 segment flight. I fly for "BAVirtual", and love doing LongHaul in the 767-336ER's, the 777-236's, the 747-236's and the mightey 747-436's.
Hope you enjoyed my "FS Report".

At the moment my best flight was a non-stop flight between Kansas City International and Sarasota/Bradenton International (Florida) in the default Boeing 737-400 on FS2000. I have PSS 777-200 Pro, and I am planning a Delta Airlines 777-200 non-stop ATL-LGW flight for FS once I get a new joystick (my old one's broken! :-()

Mine recently was a Delta 777-200 nonstop from Atlanta - Cape Town.
Also very interesting is the route from Sydney's Kingsfrod Smith to Los Angeles Int'l.
And my most frequently served route Honolulu - Los Angeles.

I think my best flight in FS(2K) was from Hong Kong Nagoya via Taipei. I used a China Airlines A300-600R to fly these routes. First flight was departed at Hong Kong at 1344 (0544GMT) and arrived at Taipei at 1544 (0744 GMT). **Flight No. CI652**. It was raining at TPE. After an hour for turn-around, at 1650 (0850 GMT), my plane carried flight no. CI150 from Taipei to Nagoya. At last I arrived at 2050 (1150 GMT) and the whole flight took me more than 5 hours.

It was quite a time ago, but I was really proud when I had finished my first long range operation, ORD-LHR in a BA 777-200. I just love that a/c  Love.

Just like birdwatching - without having to be so damned quiet!

IAH-HKG (Kai Tak) in a 747-400. 7300nm. Took me almost 17 hours. I ran out of fuel in the middle of the checkerboard approach, and still made a safe landing.
