Dragon Wings , Gemini Jets , Jet-x

Tue May 29, 2001 11:39 am

Whats the bad and good points about these 3 companies ?? I like to know from you guys

Dragon Wing  Sad Good points )

Their mould are improving , their releases are getting more exciting !! I love the SwissAir fleet (A330 , MD-11 , A321 ) and new moulds like A380 and MD-87 !! They are definately pleasing the collectors
(Bad points )

Dragon wings nose gear on Baby Airbus need to be improved through , they shouldnt release those corperate models (Not for sale ) , they only frustrated the collectors especially those have big interest in them
Example : Danza B744F , Thai B747-400 (Amazing Thailand ) , KLM B744 ...etc

Jet-X
(Good points )
Their models are an supurb , details are very nice . They have releases that excites collectors like Alaska B737-900 , EVA Air MD-11 ...etc. Their models are limited edition
Bad points
They shouldnt make releases like Western Airlines DC-10 ( 250 pieces ) , this will be harder to get those models !!

Gemini jets
(Good points )

The printing is very nice and some models mould are excellent especially their DC-8s , Boeing 707s and Boeing 737-200s .
(Bad points )
Their seams are quite horrible , their current releases are disappointing and need more varieties ( Airbuses)!!

Overall i collect all 3 companies makers depending whats the airline !!

:D

I only collect Dragon Wings and I like the fact that they have a huge amount of airlines to choose from and alot of normal and special liveries plus the models are very detailed. I do agree with you that the landing gear on the A320, A321, and A319 could be better.

I will be getting a few of the Jet-x models soon, but right now I dont have any of them.

Is it true that at least Gemini Jets makes 757's and 707's? I just started collecting last year and primarily collect Dragon Wings but got some Gemini Jets to find planes that I could not find otherwise with DW...
