Why No Herpa Wings For Virgin Atlantic?

Sun Jun 03, 2001 5:46 pm

Virgin Atlantic is quite a popular airline and is favoured by many Aviation Enthusiasts.

However, there isn't ANY Herpa Wings Models for Virgin at all. How come? Will they make a few models for them? For example: 1:500 aircraft like the B 747-200, B747-400, A 340-300 etc etc?

Virgin won't give licensing agreements for production of these models.

I dont understand why airlines dont give licenses to model companies. Whats the worst thing that happens to the airline?....they get a little publicity out of it, by having there name out there on a quality product that the buying public can purchase..i dont see what the big deal is with licensing models. I think they all should do it.
