Anybody Seen That Guy Who...

Sat Oct 20, 2001 10:45 pm

Recently, I was goofing off looking at Flightsim on the main menu/articles page and came across a link for a flight simulator history page-and from that links to a page of some guy in Australia who has built a full motion 747-400 simulator out of a Ford in his garage. I can't seem to find my way back to the guy's page, nor did I write down the address, but if anyone knows about it please share the address. I guarantee it'll floor ya-what this guy has built is mind boggling. This is not your typical aluminum foil laden fake plywood cockpit, but a 7/10th scale, full motion, 2 seat flight deck....if this subject's already been covered in this forum then I sincerely apologize but I felt obligated to point this out to the uninitiated.....

OK, I found it.....it's www.senet.com.au/dunkleyj or if that doesn't work, just do a search for A & J Dunkley and select "Home-made flight simulator." It's worth your time to check it out......
