Not Enough AI Planes Flying!

Fri Nov 23, 2001 8:52 am

Hi,

I set the air traffic to 100, but i don't really see that many airplanes flying around. is there any way to increase this?

Go to the FS2002 root folder. (By defualt it's C:-Program Files-Microsoft Games-FS2002 )
Then open FS2002.cfg (use notepad or what ever word processor) Then look for the TrafficManager section (about 1/3 down the page) Change Traffic Density to whatever you wish!

I get a ton of aircraft. Probably depends on where you're flying (and the time of day?). On my flight from LAX to SFO tonight I actually started getting a bit annoyed at all the radio chatter. I could see about a half dozen strobes in the outside view at any given time as well.

When I set it to full I get quite many aircraft. Of course MSFS can never produce as much traffic as there is in reality. Would be kinda slow then.
I think it's the best they can do and it's OK.
Bring it back, bring it back, bring it back
