MS Flight Simulator 2002 is now more realistic than ever. When the MS Flight Simulator team wrote FS2002, they borrowed some of the same technologies that the Train Simulator uses.
I had been thinking in the future of Flight Simulator and Train Sim as a virtual world together. What if Microsoft decides to fusion both simulators and creates the same virtual world for them?
You could be driving a train through the Rockies and watching the contrails of FS traffic up in the sky. Or maybe you could be doing some VFR flight over a train yard and seeing all the action down there.
Also, would be great if MS adds to the bundle some kind of Car Simulator and Ship Simulator.
Just think of it. You could be driving in your Ferrari to the airport, pilot you Citation X to Miami and from there you drive a train to Fort Lauderdale. Then you have in your hands a Yatch to navigate to Bahamas or maybe navigating in the biggest cruise ships in the world.
All this by using the same virtual world and connected to the Internet, so you would never be alone in the planet.
What if they add also Space Simulator to the bundle? Wouldn't it be great?
