Joystick For FS2002

Sun Dec 16, 2001 2:44 am

I am planning to purchase FS 2002 Pro. Which joystick would you all recommend? There are so many, and I want to make sure the one I get is the right one. If I could save a few $$ that would be good also...
Thanks,

Microsoft Joysticks has always worked exelent for me, but make sure that whatever joystick you buy has a rudder effect and a throttle, and also a POV button is recomended.

My Microsoft Sidewinder has a throttle but no POV button or rudder, but it's incredibly easy to install, atleast on modern computers with modern operatingsystems (Win2k, WinXP, WinME), just plug the USB cable into the computer and start flying  Smile

Out of interest, how sensitive should the sim be to joystick movements. I have a Logitech Wingman Force 3d and any slight movement has a very large effect on the movement of the a/c. I have tried adjusting the sensitivity in the sim but it doesn't seem to work.

Are a/c controls that sensitive in real life?
I used to think the brain is the most fascinating part of my body. But, hey, who is telling me that?

Hello,

I would buy the Microsft sidewinder percission Pro force feedback 2. It might be a little bit expensive ($70) but its really worth-it

I noticed in this weeks Best Buy add that if you buy a Force Feedback for $99.00, you get a Gift Card for $25.00. I'm gonna jump on that this Friday.
