JAL B777-300

Thu Dec 20, 2001 6:27 am

I'm building the Hasegawa kit, and it has Pratt engines. Wrong! Should be GE-90's. Anybody in the aftermarket making these either in plastic, metal, or resin? Any info would be greatly appreciated, as the Pratts look totally wrong (too small). Here's some pics.

Sorry, all JAL 777-300s have Pratt PW4090s...

Thank you Pronto. I stand corrected, and can proceed. I read in an Aviation Week publication, "Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul" that JAL 773's were GE90 powered, but upon looking in the Civil Forum, there's a post regarding that subject, which points out the fact that the PW "spinners" have a straight dash instead swirly ones like GE's & RR's. The pic that I used clearly shows that. Thanks again.
