ATC works well, especially with IFR plans. At the very least it adds some athmosphere in the form of ATC chatter when flying VFR if you don't like to take directions.
On the ground, it will correctly tell aircraft (including you) where to taxi and when to hold.
Only gripe (and I think that's why LZA does not like it) is that all procedures are US only, and are not the same as those used in real life on non-US airfields.
