Ive Finally Gone Round The World!

Wed Jan 16, 2002 1:22 am

hi all, i did it, in V-IIB 777 on fs2002 i went all the way around the world this weekend just gone, i started from EGCC manchester to Bangladesh, to Tokyo, to Hawaii, to New york, and then back to EGCC all in under 48 hours (well 37 hours) it was exhausting, and well i nearly gave up 8 times, but i finally did it, on sunday night i came in for a final approach into egcc, i then celbrated a bit by having a beer, before falling alseep as fast as i have ever done in my life, it was well worth doing, and id do it again.
Its not the fall that kills u, its the sudden stop at the end..

The real challenge is doing it in a light aircraft like the Mooney or the Baron.
That's what I'm doing now, in between flying assignments for my VA.
Started at LEleystad, now in Narsarsuaq (Greenland) and will fly on to Gander tomorrow. From where then? I don't know yet. I think I'll hug the coast to Cape Caneveral and go west from there, then up the west coast to make the crossing into Asia via the Aleutan chain.
I wish I were flying
