Plane Designer Websites

Tue Feb 19, 2002 5:21 am

Hi all,

I have been searching sites and usually planes that are painted aren't constructed with special effects.

I would like to know which plane designer websites feature aircrafts that have very special features (eg: roundish engine nacelles, cabin, night lighting, flexing wings, animated gears, etc...) that catches any flightsimmer's eye. I have found only one site that features that, and that is Camil Valiquette's Airbus/Boeing website.

Also, are there any site that also features special regional jets with characteristics metioned above?

Appreciate it!!

Try POSKY (http://www.avsim.com/posky) and Yeodesigns (http://www.yeodesigns.net)(currently down for being too popular and thus going over their traffic limit for the month).

Other good planes are from Euroflight (http://www.avsim.com/euroflight) and FFG (http://www.avsim.com/ffg).

As to animation, just about anyone has that these days.
Nick Botamer's ERJs (sorry, no URL) are good, so are Barry Blaisdell's CRJs (http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/premaircraft).

Nelson, try POSKY. I am currently using their SIA 747s and 777s and they are great.

BTW, how's Phoenix?

PSS is nice, but payware. Not quite sure about the level of FS2002 support.

If you buy a PSS product DONT buy their planes! they su_ck if you need a 777/767/747 go for Posky there the best( Plus there planes are free!!!). Only thing that PSS makes thats worth buying is their Sounds and their Panels.

-Thanks 9V-SVA! Phoenix is fine (but still cold)

-Thanks Jwenting for the CRJ200 link. As for the ERJ, enter "Botamer" in Flightsim.com and it rings up all his ERJs

Tip for the Botamer ERJs. There is a paintkit on simviation containing white versions of them all.
You will need to replace the airfiles, cfgs and mdls with the FS2002 versions to correct some minor things, textures will remain the same.
