I would like to know whta´s the main difference between them. Is FS2002 PRO only recommended to proffessional pilots?

Just a thought, but have you looked on the Microsoft website?!?!?!

PRO has more aircraft than STD, also it comes with a version of GMAX to allow you to design your own aircraft, scenery etc. If you can get your head around it!! I think PRO has IFR panels as well, which STD doesn't?

There is no reason whatsoever for the PRO version to be for professional pilots only!

With most addon devellopers using the Pro version and gearing their addons for their own systems, many require the Pro version to work.
Examples are turboprop aircraft (no turboprop flightmodel in the Std) and gauges.
I wish I were flying
