Museum Of Flight Store @ SEA Airport?

Wed Mar 27, 2002 6:55 am

Hi,

Isn't there are store at Seattle Tacoma's Airport, called "Musum of Flight"?? I think they sell Herpa Wings models, etc...

Somehow I can't find it on the terminal map? Is it still there? Where is it located?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

There is a little store at Seatac from the Museum of flight. (at least the last time I was there)

Sorry, Im not sure where it is, but is in the main terminal area.

Ive bought a few things there before. Pretty small place, but yeah, they have the herpa things (sorry, I think they look like an expensive waste of money. Why are the wheels so big?)

Anyway, Go SEA!!! Also, Go Third Runway!!!

Hmm.. I can't remember where it is (I couldn't find it on the site) but I doubt it is in the United terminal. That is kinda far away from all the others.

Interestingly enough, flying out of SEA as much as I do, I have never been in there. If anyone recommends it, I'll pop in in a couple weeks when I fly out.

I just passed through SEA this afternoon and couldn't find it. I know it used to be there as I'd buy issues of Airways and Airliners there, but with all the construction going on it probably has been temporarily (hopefully temp) closed...  Sad

The store was behind the ticket counters in the main terminal between the B and C concourses. That area was mostly shopping and food places. It shows that portion of the airport is closed for construction right now. Maybe they will open up again after the construction is done. If you have time the Seattle Museum of Flight at Boeing Field is well worth the visit and has a much larger version of the store as well.
