My 747 Files Are Gone

Mon Apr 01, 2002 1:04 pm

SOS- All of my default 747 files on FS2K2 have disappeared!! There's the possibility that I deleted them accidentaly, but I don't think I did. To the point, my question is can I get them back online somewhere without having to re-install the whole simulator? Help!

I this also happened to me, and I still don't know why.

I think you can get them back by exploring the CDs, but I don't know which one.

Hope this helps

So you're saying I can go into Windows Explorer and sift through the FS2K2 CD contents and copy and paste? It won't try to install itself or anything, will it?

You can explore the CDs, the files are there. This happened to me with my GPS and I was able to get a "new" one from the CD.

OK Bernard- I am also missing my GPS and other textures on my downloaded 747s that are still remaining. Once I get the origional default 747 files back, that should replace all the necessary textures and everything, right? BTW, where is the GPS located- I mean in which folder?

just put one of the 3 CDs in, go to "My Computer", right click on your CD drive, and select "Explore", a list of folders and other stuff should appear.
