Joystick Calibration--HELP

Mon Jun 03, 2002 11:11 am

I ran in to a problem which I've tried to fix but was not sucessfull. My joystick for unknown reasons is acting up really bad. It is autmatically set to the far right point and causes the plane to turn as soon as it starts moving or banking in the air. The vertical aspect of it seems to be fine. When I try to calibrate it, X axis stays to the right side and doesn't move a bit even when I push the joystick to the left. Everything else works fine. I'm starting to think that there is a problem with the joystick, maybe a defect. Could it be something to do with calibration?

THNX for any responses or sugestions.

I had a similiar problem with a LogicTech Wingman. It just stated forcing me to yaw no matterwhat I tried. Eventually I just bought a microsoft do-hingy - so far works great.
