My very first safety cards are, Air Tran 737-200 (2000), Air Canada DC-9 (1981) and Air Canada 727 (1990). I got the Air Tran card by e-mailing Air Tran and the 2 Air Canada cards were in my grandmother's basement.

I have quite a few cards in my collection, won't bother to count them though. I've been collecting for about 6 months.

737heavy,

yes, but sometimes if you ask they would give the card to you, but honestly, I've only asked once if I could take the safety card with me and they said yes.

Hi, aren't these supposed to stay with the airplane?

Really, 737heavy?  Big thumbs up  Innocent
Try this to explain on the collectors Big grin

I am not a real collector Mikas, I have only three safeties.
But from now on, I will take them out of every flight I do, and will give them to interested friends.

Like this summer, I will take the AZ safeties out the airplane, will hold one for me and the others are for who is interested.

Frederic

I'm not very sure, it has to be a Swissair card I think or it could be a old Cathay 744 and L10.

Nearly 2000 cards (all different). My collection and everything you find at http://www.747.ch

My first ones were three Britannia B737-800. I took them from a flight in January 2001. Have collected since then.
I currently have about 150 different safety cards.

Germania had -100s only 5 years ago? Damn, another missed opportunity.
My first on was an Air Columbus 737-300 which I took from an Adria A320 - hey, I actually did them a favour by removing that one! Big grin  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

RE: Germania B727-100

Tue Jun 11, 2002 6:21 am

Hello Hias and Daniel !

According to my information Germania had two B727-100.
These were D-AHLN (B727-81) and D-AHLS (B727-89).

The D-AHLN operated from 1972 to 1987 (first with Hapag-Lloyd later Germania), the D-AHLS from 1976 tp 1991.
(Source: http://members.tripod.com/spottercrazy/german/d-a/d-ah.htm)

So it seems quite impossible that Hias have got the safetycard in 1997...

Cheers,
Fabian

Btw: my first safetycard was a LTU L1011-1 I kept from a flight DUS-DJE in March 1988...

I do not really collect safety cards but the first one I have stolen on a Lufthansa flight from FRA to DUS, the plane was an A 321 (D-AISF).

My first was about 16 years ago of a USAir 737-200. My teacher at the time (being that I was in elementary school at the time) took it for me.....Needless to say, however having moved several times since then, it was lost long, long ago.  Sad

Continental B737-300/500 on the way back from visiting my grand parents in MCO over Christmas 2000. I got the card in 2001. I will never ever let go of that card (despite that it had some coffee stains when I got it)  Big thumbs up

My first safety was an Air New Zealand 767-200 which my dad flogged for me.
I have been collecting for about a year and only have three...as I find it really hard to get them.

My most prized safety cards in my collection are the old Eastern Air Lines B-727-25C ones from the early 70s. They're rigid white plastic cards with greenish printing. VERY cool!
