Where To Find Decals?

Sun Sep 01, 2002 10:15 pm

I am searching for decals of EL-AL's old livery; I know it exists (at least for the 737, 747, 767 and 744), but I don't know how to obtain them.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hmm...a while back I remember looking at a site that made decals that you could put on your own plane. Try doing a Google search, and I will try to find the site - but I do not know if I will be able to. But I do not think that the site had old liverys, but I could be wrong!

Try - they are a well established UK model shop with stacks of airliner (and other) decals in stock.

I just thought of might to try joining a Yahoo group about model making etc. I do not know if it would work, but it is an idea!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Yes they do exist & I have the Runway 30 set for a 144 scale 747-200. I bought it over 10 years ago, but it has been looked after being stored flat at room temperature so should be in good condition. It is a big sheet with all cheatlines, doors etc. I would be interested in parting with it for a fair price as I did plan to use it myself, but time being thine enemy I may never get round to it. Hannants (as already suggested) still have available a Liveries Unlimited 737-200 set in 144 scale & I believe Liveries Unlimited also made a set for the 767-200, but not now listed anywhere.
If you are interested post a reply.

Hi "Tangram",
thank you very much for answering; sure, I might be very interested to buy this item... I don't know the firm Runway 30, but if the decal is nicely manufactured, I would love to have the striking livery for El-Al's old Jumbos!
