The NW colors look good, not pink like some. Is there a UA one ? Also, does it use the default 744 panel ?

Beautiful plane. I´d say its even more realistic than Posky´s 744. And excellent dynamics too.
Congratulations, Meljet.

Yes, the VS tail turns blurry. If you zoom right in until the tail is out of frame, then zoom back out, it goes OK. Must be a texture layer or something.
I'll fly the NW one until a fix is out.

I too think that the gear is too large, and there is something with the nose that I don't like, other than that it's great. I'll wait and see if the POSKY V3 744 is better. I think it will be a though choice.

Some people where having the same problem with the posky V3 762/3, do a search and you'll find some info on how to get the blurries to go away.

My prayers have finnaly been answered! Wing views on a 747!  Big thumbs up

How do you open the front cargo door?

I know the L1 door can be opened by pressing Shift and E

SQ air,

Shift+E+1 is main door
Shift+E+2 is secondary door, and so forth.... Cargo door is secondary with this model.

About the blurry tail, the way to solve this is to delete the mip-maps.

If you have turned on any of the lights, it will come on. Turn off all the lights and it will go off.

Avsim.com has a download to fix the blurry tail on the Virgin Atlantic model, so you can just download the fix now  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Some more good repaints at Avsim - KLM, BA (current & Landor), Wunala plus more.

I like the Singapore Cargo one, from MelJet's site..

I downloaded the ANA Marine Jumbo One. What a fabulous bird. The wing views are great to watch, even though on a real 747 you can't see the wings from the flight deck. The only problem is that the tail is blurry.

Visually it's great, I do agree about the gear being a little large - but he's done a good job with the tilting gear - it tilts so that it doesn't look like the wheels are floating over the ground, or they're buried in the ground.

Re, flight dynamics, that's a weak point. There's something wrong if I can 3000fpm at MTOW with TOGA thrust.

Flap extension for Flaps 20 also appears a bit too long.

Cheers,

Justin
