Modeling A/C In 3d - Need Info

Sat Dec 07, 2002 10:11 am

I'd like to make some 3d models of various aircraft. How do the "artists" out there who do this already (ie, for FS) do this?...I don't mean program-wise, I mean aircraft detail-wise. Are there blueprints out there on the internet? Are they just really good at looking at lots of pictures and figuring out "where everything goes"?
