Need 737 Three-view Line Art.

Sat Jan 18, 2003 7:03 am

You would never guess this would be hard to find online... but so far I am unsuccessful.

I am looking for a three-view, vector line art EPS file of a Boeing 737. Specifically a 737-200 and 737-300. Something like this, but with side and top views: http://www.dfrc.nasa.gov/gallery/graphics/B-737-300/Small/B-737-300_frontview.gif I need it for a fantasy paint scheme.

Anyone out there have it or know where to find it?

Reply in this thread or e-mail me directly.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there-

I'm not sure what EPS means, but I got these off the site I use for three-views:
732
733

Hope these are what you were looking for!

Hey Jake -

Thanks! But I am indeed looking for what's called "vector" art. It's the kind of file that can be opened in Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand. For the lack of a better way of describing it, it's like a drawing where I can redirect the linework using pen tools. Those links you supplied are EXACTLY the kind of files I need... only in vector EPS (Encapsulated Postscript).

Thanks though!

William

P.S. I am just across Elliott Bay in Seattle!

Don't know quite where you got "Jake"; its Luke  Big grin

Good deal, Seattle's a good place. Wish I was a bit closer to SEA. The ferry's a pain from Bainbridge, since its so expensive and takes half an hour, plus the drive out and back. I go a lot to the smaller airport at Bremerton (PWT), where I have logged a couple hours, and I spend my weekends at Port Townsend "International" helping to restore aircraft. I go spotting at SEA and BFI whenever I can.

Do you ever go spotting or photographing (word???) at SEA or BFI? What do you do aviation related other than that?

Sorry Luke. (Not sure where I got Jake either...  Nuts )

FYI... I found the three-views on Boeing's website.

http://www.boeing.com/assocproducts/aircompat/3d_view.html

They can be downloaded as CAD files, then imported and converted in Adobe Illustrator (10).

Thanks anyway!
