Yep- I'm here. I like being able to say, "Yes, I built that myself," when someone asks me if those models were storebought or built. I've learned from mistakes over the period of about 3 years since starting to build, but am sad to say that I'm having trouble finding time. I'm a perfectionist, so building a model is no fast process. I spray-paint everything so it has a nice, realistic texture, and I like detail.
Here's what's on my bookcase now:
-135 Executive Helicopter
Beech Bonanza V35
Alaskan Airlines B727
I won't lie- I really don't have that many that I haven't wrecked or messed up on with paint/decals so severely they can't be used, and I scrap them for parts. Right now, I'm close to finishing an American Airlines MD
-80- just have to finish painting the engines and wings- otherwise, all the decals are on and everything.
*Unless the decals/paint scheme is for an airline, if I don't like it I usually paint it as I desire. The Eurocopter was meant to be a German Army patrol chopper, but since I like executive choppers with nice paint on them, I just re-did it.
