FS2002 Throttle Problem

Sat Mar 22, 2003 9:55 am

Hello everyone... I've been meaning to ask this question for a long time but never found the urge to. Well, after flying tonight from PHX-MCO on my lear 45, I finally decided to ask it. What my problem is that sometimes in the middle of the flight, my two throttle levers seperate. By seperate I mean that when I hit F4 or change my throttle levels in any way, only the left or only the right throttle, for example, will change. The other will stay where it is and not move unless I click it with the mouse, which is very annoying. To fix it, the only way I know of is to open the plane up again (while in flight) by going to aircraft and selecting the same plane. This problem occurs on I believe all my multi-engine planes. Has anyone ever experienced something like this before? And if so, how can I fix it without having to select the aircraft again? Is there a key I could hit like F7 for example and it'll be together again? Please respond ASAP. I'd like to find a way to fix this now. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer, but can confirm the same thing happens to me. Had it happen on a 747 flight recently when I disconnected the A/T just prior to landing. Also I tried a flight with a Dash 7 and the throttle dial on the joystick would only work engine 1 even at first startup (made for some interesting maneuvers when I was cleared for take-off and started doing circles). Anyone know what to do for this?

Hit shift+e+1 and then 2. If you have 4 engines then 3 and 4 etc.

Where'd you get your info from? I tried it but all it did was open the exit and open some panels up.
