i got aa sidewinder forcefeedback pro yesterday and im having a bit of trouble.
A i have windows 2000 so the software that came with the joystick cant install coz it isnt new enough for 2000. so i have default windows drivers running. the joystick is a lil too sensitive to aileron forces. i need to know if theres anywhere i can change the sensitivity of the aileron force.

yes, you can change the sensitivity somewhere in MSF

I've problems with my forcefeedback too, especially when I fly the Cessna

the aileron forces make teh joystick swing from side to side consistently.

Install the software of the sidewinder 2, it is not the driver, it is the software, it leaves an icon in your taskbar and offers methods of verifying/calibrating settings. An interactive screen where individual buttons and vibrator can be tested. It's a cd, it might be your solution. Eversince I started using the sidewinder 2, I enjoyed MsFs million times better, and I rarely crash a plane (except when approaching perpendicularly the middle of the runway in a 777).
But I have the same problem as you in Geoff Crammond's GrandPrix 4.   had to ignore sidewinder for that one. I have win2000, and I remember the software had win98 written on it and I forgot if win2000 is written somewhere on it too
