Will FS2K4 Have The Newly Constructed Runways?

Tue Jul 01, 2003 1:40 pm

I'm wondering if SJC, DEN, PHL, and others will feature their new runways...

The only new runway PHL has is 8-26 and it's in FS2K2 so it will be in FS2K4.

The other 2 airports I don't know. I doubt Denver's new runway since it isn't completed yet.

Either way, there will be add-ons to put those runways in pretty quickly after the games release. Its pretty easily done.

I believe KMCO is constructing a new runway as well.

As far as I know, FS2004 don't have the new runway 18R-36L (polderbaan) at AMS

It doesn't.
Quite simply, the first navdata using it (and the inauguration of it) date from after the date at which the scenery and nav database for FS2004 were fixed.

Got my copy today, not sure if it is the official release or a demo/review copy! Ams doesn't have the newly constructed Polderbaan!

From what I'v seen.

It't looks like MIA does not have her new runway 8/26. Thats most likely because its not open yet.

....thinks about doing his first 2004 addon....

anyone knows if they have the new Terminal for Piarco International, POS, Trinidad?

I wonder if they updated some of the magnetic variations for the ILSs.
Current FS runway alignment is 102 degrees for the POS ILS, when in fact it is 104 degrees in real.
Maintain own separation with terrain!

And what about the runways that have disappeared? Most importantly Meigs and Hong Kong?
