New Video Card For FS2K Pro

Mon Aug 11, 2003 11:40 pm

Hi All,

Recently my nvida 64mb video card died on me. I'm using my spare one Asus 16mb and flying is impossible with it.
I would like to know which cards are you using and which cards I should avoid.

Also, I want to say that I'm not gonna buy any ATI product.

Thanks,
Rafal

I have a Chaintek Geforce 4 Ti4600. Though I have had many a good experience with ATI, and the 9700Pro is hard to beat for performance and value.

If you want quality and speed, get any Nvidia FX same or above model 5600. Don't even think about the 5200: Directx 9 compliant, but so basic that it doesn't even have Intellisample (Antialaising, etc) and a Mx460 es even faster that this new-direct9-compliant-crap.

Also consider any Ati radeon same or above mode 9700.
