Anyone Flight Sim In Greenland?

Sat Nov 01, 2003 3:17 am

I recently read about Air Greenland and I got interested in virtual flying in Greenland. I looked up a schedule and I want to try out a route VFR:

Sisimiut - Kangerlussuaq - Aasiaat - Ilulissat - Upernavik

If anyone does flying around Greenland, could you help me out in getting these flights organized? I've got navaids, but I'm not familiar with the terrain nor do I have charts for this region of the world.

done a bit in FS, mainly fuelstops on transoceanic flights in light aircraft.
Not much to look at apart from the fjords along the coast.
I wish I were flying

I do a lot of transatlantic flights nowadays, and they route always goes over Greenland. I like the mountains of snow, it's rather nice looking. It's even more amazing in real life, it's so beautiful!

I never did Greenland even though my VA flys from MIA to Greenland with 757. But Alaska is great i flown a bit there. Sitka-Jueno i did once at 4:00am the sun rise was great. Dash-7 to top it off! Wish the Dash-7 panel would come out for FS9. Any way Alaska is great. You can bush fly and then to end the day go to your base in Fairbanks or Anchorage. Anchorage is very nice in FS9 and 02 with the gates and all.
