How Much Should I Bid?

Wed Dec 03, 2003 3:03 pm

Ok. In the math classroom, there is these 2 Canadi>n Airlines International posters. Both are those ones you woulda seen in the bridges n the waiting areas and that, that advertise different places the airline goes to.

One is for LA, and i cant remember the other one, but i think its overseas. They both seem in good condition and my guess is their from sometime in the mid to late 90's (in the old c/s).

So, next math class, im gunna attempt to buy them. Im just gunna go up after class and offer X ammount of money for them 2 posters back there. I want those posters, but dont want to spend more than i have to
Question: anyone have any idea how much i should be paying? $2? $5? $10? $20? more? less?

Thanks alot

Considering Canadian is now defunct, I would think that they will eventually be worth some money. I'd say $20. Consider it an investment.

yeah... i know, i dont give a shit who ends up with the money i just want those posters! and when i want i mean really want...

Ill try $10 CAD, i dought the math teacher would have a clue in hell if their worth any more than that, and if so ill just bid up to $20 and see if that works....

Wish me luck

ok... our math teacher is only hear for simester 1 then we get another and its the other one that accually owns the posters and put em there rolled up in the back at the top so ill have to wait till feb. to get my hands on them, but i will eventually.

I know it sounds wierd buying Canadi>n posters from a math teacher, but who else could i get some of them off of that i could probably end up paying less than if i bought from someone who knows what there selling eh.....

Why would they be in a math classroom is my question...although I must admit I used some spare safety cards and an old PHL TAC for a math project that was eventually hung so maybe its not so strange....but what do Canadian Airlines posters have to do with math???
