World Airliners & FS Traffic 2002 - Your Opinions

Sat Dec 20, 2003 1:10 pm

Hey Guys,

I've recently ordered the above mentioned products for an early Christmas present having not read many reviews, I was wondering if you could voice your opinions on the products. Good points? Bad points? Problems? Best feature? Just a few brief words or a detailed opinion - it's up to you!

Thanks in advance,

Soulman.

World Airliners is a great package. The 772 and the 744 both have a working FMC that will import FS2002 flight plans. It is worth getting to know well. Overhead panel allows start ups from a cold, dark cockpit. Superb package but could do with Wing Views and moving thrust reversers - otherwise no complaints at all! The documentation for both aircraft is superb and well worth printing out and binding - at least that is what I did.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm glad that the FMC works - it adds so much more to the experience I think.

Can you download other liveries for the aircraft from the internet?

Thanks again, keep 'em coming!  Smile

C'mon guys,

Surely there is more than one person here who owns either of these products...

I'm keen to know what they're like!

The PSS aircraft are not the best, but the panels are SUPERB!!!

As far as downloading liveries are concerned, I would use the panels with the POSKY and MELJET 744 and 772s. There are a few modifications you need to make to the aircraft.cfg files, but you should be able to get these from avsim.

A very real flying experience.

Craig.

I used to use the PSS 777 & 747 a lot when I had FS2002, I loved the panel (took me a while to figure out though) and the sounds, best add-on I got for FS2002. But now I have FS2004, so I can't use it  Sad.

Thanks guys,

Your comments are appreciated. I can't wait to get the products - should arrive tomorrow, fingers crossed. Hopefully I can find out how to modify the aircraft.cfg and use the panels with POSKY and MelJet aircraft - they are fantastic and a credit to the designers.

Now - does anyone have FS Traffic 02? I haven't read any reviews as yet, so if anybody would like to share their opinion or point me in the right direction toward one - that'd be great!

Cheers, and thanks again guys,

Soulman.
