I've got Airline 5 & I was kinda surprised. It's 110% harder than I expected. It's a great game, but you have to know what you're doing & make it all work to make a profit.
I had an airline based at JAX
with 8 734s & added a couple EMB-120...I was doing well until I got cocky & leased a 767-200ER for LGW
flights. Killed me. I don't think you can cancel a lease on a plane, so you're stuck with it until the lease is over.
I tried another (which I'm still working on) at AUS
with ERJ-145s & 757s & am doing pretty well, turning a profit, but as time goes on, you end up losing money on routes...the ERJ routes are doing well, the 757s are either full or running me down.
