Aircraft Of The World

I remember these a few years back and want to re-start collecting them.

What ever happened?

Sushka, what are you talking about?

MartinairYYZ, if you can be a little more specific, we can help you.

Martinair, I know exactly what you're talking about, I think. I have no idea what Sushka is talking about though. Those fat 3 ring binders with different sections and categories of a/c in which you put the fold-out inserts of a specific a/c type that has pics and info of that type? That Aircraft Of The World? I remember I used to get these things in the mail for free, then they wanted me to pay for future shipments and so I did for a little while, then I think my mom stopped paying, and I stoped getting them. Sad This was years ago though, and I would like to start collecting them again as well. The only thing is though whenever they sent me more only like 1 out of 10 would be commercial planes, and that's pretty much all I wanted.

If this is what you're talking about, let me know. I've tried searching for this type of thing on the internet but no luck.

I think I know what you are talking about. My brother used to get those too. All of his were miltary planes except for a Gulf Air L1011. I was only about 6-8 years old at the time and I remember thinking that was one of the most beautiful airplanes ever. He also had a cool card with a C-130.

I have not seen these cards for years.
