I am thinking about buying the FS2004 but I have no knowledge of flying. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some advise and/or handy tips on flight simulation, how it works, what minimum knowledge is required to use a flight simulation program. The photo's I've seen of previous flightsims were not always that real-looking compared to the FS2004. The background sceney, airports and aircraft in FS2004 look very realistic which made me think of buying FS2004, but as I said, I do not know much about the laws of flight, onbaord systems, avionics etc. It sounds really cool to be able to fly aircraft such as the 777, 747, 332-388. I've heard from friends that FS2004 is a very realistic simulation program for flying. What can you tell me about FS2004? I know all the aircraft types, airlines, but not much more. Looking at photo's of FS2004, it must be a very good program, is it a user-friendly program or is some knowledge required to be able to use FS2004?
Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated.
